GLC jointly sponsors Reading the Landscape which hosted a slide lecture and discussion at the community building in Eagle Harbor. Dave Dempsey, author of Ruin and Recovery showed historical images and engaged the audience in discussion and activities to aid in envisioning the needs and work of the coming decades. The well attended event included quite a few participants who are well known for their conservation work in the U.P.
